HORSES FOR SALE
|
|
It can be daunting
owning a racehorse for the first time, wondering how you go about buying
a racehorse and what is involved.
Think
about what kind of horse would suit you,...... perhaps a stayer or sprinter or a
two year old.
You normally have to wait longer for a stayer to develop and race regular than a
sprinter who can run nearly weekly.....can you wait?, does that suit your
personality?.
Would
you be better with four quarter shares in four different horses or own one horse
outright ......
(these are the kind of questions to ask)
A winning racehorse is one of life's greatest joys. But
racehorse ownership can also require tremendous patience and can involve
frustration and disappointment. There is never any guarantee that even the most
expensive horse will succeed. After all, racehorses, like professional
footballers and athletes, can suffer from injuries and set backs.
As has been said......just because you pay a million for a
racehorse doesn’t guarantee that it will win......conversely by paying just a
thousand for a horse doesn’t mean it won’t win!!!!
For most owners, however, the expense and potential
disappointment are not enough to diminish their enthusiasm for the sport and
their desire for a glorious winner.
Talk to Tim, Ian Smith, Mike & Glenda Swinglehurst or Andy Mitchell.
They will all help with advice and what it feels like to own a winner!!. Go to
